disclaimer: taking pictures of my food makes me feel v self-conscious and also sort of braggy in a way (not to mention the weird class politics, this is probably why I feel self-conscious) I do not enjoy, but I figure a lot of people are cooking more lately and maybe people like to see recipe results + feedback
my ideal recipe is one that has only a few ingredients and is one that I can also store leftovers easily
I would like to see your pictures.
it's a salad so you can put whatever in it obviously, the major substitution I made this time around was using palm sugar instead of brown
that looks delicious

I basically make this all the time!! I finish it with lemon juice & calabrian chile oil, I am extremely pro-spice
delicious trader joe's cinnamon buns that come in a can
trader joe's has great bakeable breakfast pastry options and I highly recommend for those fortunate enough to not be canadian
I will update this plurk as I cook more things
as you can see, this week's groceries came with kale
there's a comment section person going "dill?" but in fact I use dill in every chicken soup, I recommend it
I substituted water for chicken broth and farro for the rice-- I sauteed it a bit with the onions to toast it
I only made a single batch, since grain soups get mushy, but it's super easy
and I still have my leftovers:

sheet pan feast:
the problem is that I made soup for the week but now it's turned suddenly very hot
that's what is gonna happen if the weather doesn't change again (very possible)
ooh that's a good sheet pan feast
marinade: palm sugar + fish sauce + lime juice blended with cilantro
then you cook them on a sheet pan and glaze with sambal oelek
