Dreamed I was a shitty barebones con (not unlike Dashcon actually but no ballpit) so I went to attend a sort of world premiere trailer airing because it was the only thing on the schedule at that time

The... I don't even know, movie? Maybe? Trilogy? Series? Who the fuck knows was advertised as a Harsh Realm sort of thing, with the future in the balance of some virtual reality shit

I don't think I was actually allowed to be there but anyway I sat with my dad to watch the thing and my god. There was nothing in there that was not ripped off.

It was basically some sort of Star Wars-ish saga but with most elements directly ripped from the Stargate movie (the old one) like Jaffa and Goa'uld but there was also a naked cult about The Chosen One

except the Chosen One was a woman who would suffer immeasurable pain to have a virgin pregnancy and birth god but the point was her erotic suffering

anyway the trailer ended and I broke into super loud incredulous laughter at the ?????? of it all so I was physically removed from the projection room by a massive quarterback-shaped bodyguard who scolded me for making his job difficult (to which I answered "How?? You're a whole foot taller than me!)

Turns out his job was to protect the "movie?" producer from the presence of females who didn't get his vision

They also kidnapped my dad because he said the trailer was the worst shit he's ever seen

but then I woke up cuz I had to pee.
