I can't really say "marxist history podcast" b/c a marxist historiography is pretty valid

anyway so there's this history podcast which I haven't ever actually listened to, which is probably unfair on some level but also every time I go to look the content is like this:

i'd read a transcript but listening must be excruciating

previously they had a deep dive on stalin with grover furr, who is the preeminent holomodor denialist

so, you know, I didn't listen to that either

but one thing about this podcast is that they have a twitter account and they're not afraid to get into fights with it

one time I was trapped in a lyft with npr on and they were reading translated accounts from refugees and relatives of uighur chinese nationals in uzbeistan and I became to depressed to ask to change the channel

they also talked about climate change

it was harrowing

anyway the latest drama is about… yugoslavia, so I guess there's a certain continuity with "neocon lies about china"
