If we are to take 3.4 million as the number of hits, generously assuming no rereads- simply one person providing 28 hits to the ffdotnet story; that puts us at 121,428 individual readers. More likely less due to rereads, but 100,000 be not 1 Billion. However, it is still SUBSTANTIAL, and using hyperbole, akin to 1Billion in the fanfic community.
