It was kind of a disaster.

The first thing the game does is throw a bunch of various tips and tutorials at me which I normally don't mind. I can usually use the help.

But not when there's a bunch of things attacking and I can't see them because other screens are in the way.

And I thought I had the targeting system figured out but apparently not. It just kept cycling through the party instead of targeting enemies. I eventually button mashed my way out of that but I don't know how.

I also went the wrong way at least twice and to cap it all off I got kicked off the game entirely right before we started fighting the boss.

when you get to the next one, let us know. Even though we're on different servers we can still team up because we're in neighboring ones.

And when I logged back in I had gained a level, the dungeon was cleared, and I had a new pair of boots.

for targeting I think tab cycles enemies while you can use the numpad to cycle party

there's an npc in the towns who can take you on some party dynamics tutorials, they should be at the inn

I love helping out new peoples, and I have all classes! I am the one that bitchsmackes other party members if they are trying to go fast in a dungeon when there's a newbie.

I'm using the ps4 controller so I think mine is different.

Ah, I play on PS4 like half the time! I THINK, and I could be wrong, but I think that to scroll between party members it's up-down on D-pad

and left-right scrolls all targets

discord is the method of choice

I just use the PS4 to play and my phone's Discord for voice chat

and getting a usb keyboard isn't a bad idea but not required

btw, after you clear your initial dungeons you get access to a thing called Leveling Roulette. Once a day you can get a random dungeon (of the ones you have unlocked) and you get a lot of bonus exp for completing it
