Agh! I’ve logged off and on. Cleared the cache... nothing. I’m just orange smoke.
I Managed to somehow get myself half looking normal at one stage (no idea how, I think I put on another system body) but still had one hand missing and an orange triangle jutting out of my head. logged off and went back to smoke as I didn’t save it.

I’m going to bed grumpy now. If I wake up and you have all solved my problem I will be forced grateful.

The connection between the server and your viewer wasn't solid before the viewer tried to access those items. Sometimes it can just indicate a bumpy login, but if it continues to happen over multiple logins, then you should reset your connection by rebooting your router/modem.

We suggest leaving your router unplugged for a good two minutes before plugging it back in.

Don't clear cache for this particular issue; all that does is give the viewer more work to do when you log back in.

My laptop did shut off randomly when I was in SL.

I just logged in on a VERY old laptop and my avi seemed fine, with no notifications of things missing.

I’ll try the modem thing tomorrow... but it might be my laptop.

I had to reinstall Windows and it’s fixed.

But I lost all my SL settings... which sucks.

But yay! Daisy is fixed so phew!

For future reference, Firestorm viewer has a way to back up your SL settings.

I'm glad you got Daisy fixed though, I was never quite sure about the wisdom of her reproducing
