In the string of 'always seems like bad shit happens on my birthday', Jack's best friend has been having some health issues lately. They had found a tumor in his jaw and knew they were going to have to operate...
And they found out today that he actually has lung cancer on top of it. And it's not looking great right now. He has a small child and another one due in December. This is such bullshit.
He's never smoked, not ever. This isn't fair.
