ive been thinking of getting new docs too 🥺

daffodilbaby: i have a couple pair of docs tbh but only bc i only own docs, no other shoes im an elitist whore 😔 but i wanna replace my first pair, the og black ones everyone has. i got them for my 17th birthday almost six years ago and they’re pretty beat up lmaoo

guineapigs: i should probably get docs or something because i have to get new boots every 2 or 3 years and it’d be a good investment tbh

daffodilbaby: yeah it depends how well you like your shoes like i dont mind the beat up look my pair even had holes and stuff but it only cost ten bucks to get them stitched by a shoe repairer but my mom has been begging to buy me or for me to buy a new pair bc theyre “old” and “bad” looking lmao

i only replace them when they get holes or something i don’t mind using shoe polish or getting little things repaired

daffodilbaby: yeah thats fair i feel like they last a good couple of years, i dont even need new ones necessarily i was just considering it. if i stretched it out and wait, they could prbly last me another year or two
