my birthday was on the 14th, and i was out for the weekend (Thursday-Tuesday) to just be a vegetable

I got a call on Monday saying that one of my direct coworkers tested positive over the weekend and that I needed to get tested but there was no availability on Monday

and then people started testing positive in my work place and the higher ups were s i l e n t

C: I am quitting next Monday but...the lack of preparedness in this pandemic on my company's behalf and their extreme joint belief that this disease is JUST A DANG HOAX

my manager is also.....very emotional and I put his ass on the damn spot. he was furious with me.

long story extremely short, I was in the office, angry as hell, requested a meeting with my boss for the following Monday because I was just. its the kind of mad where you feel like you might say something dumb if you open your mouth

he kept proving to figure out what was wrong and i finally gave him something, but included that I wasn't in the right frame of mind to go deeper and that I need time to breathe.

I came back on Monday, refreshed, and he came back on Monday the picture of anger
