I don't like too much cheese, I'm much more likely to do macaroni + olive oil + parmesan or pecorino sprinkles vs a gooey cheese thing.

Man, idk. As far as something I've been making a long time maybe caesar salad? I make a lot of roast chicken variations.

I like to use thighs because they're very forgiving and hard to dry out

and I have a "zuni sheet pan chicken" recipe too, haha. since i'm usually cooking for one a whole chicken isn't usually what I do.
I also tried to cook a goose once and it didn't work too well.
Yep!! It's a pretty easy technique. If you want to do something more involved, you can sauté the skin while the oven preheats, to make it extra crispy
that method is one I've used to cook for other people too.
it is mostly that I'm cheap, I don't usually order chicken at restaurants.

and it depends on the restaurant; I like steak a lot but I don't eat it very often.
medieval thinks I like chicken wings because I don't like sandwiches, so I often if I go to a sandwich place / burger joint I will wind up getting chicken fingers, but it's not because they're my favorite, it's because I don't like sandwiches.
I used to refuse to eat any kind of sandwich, including burgers and hot dogs!!
I am less finicky about this now, but I still don't like cold cuts or hot dogs.
