Relax, because CNJ and WHM are dead-easy to heal on.

Also do side quests! Good for gear AND xp AND money.

Is it more important to focus on heals or dps in a dungeon. I've heard you're supposed to dps as much as possible.

usually in beginning dungeons i recommend healing once tank gets below half

you have a role skill called lucid dreaming. it is your friend. it regens your mana which is...less important in dungeons but is important the more you go

When you start out healing, don't worry about focusing on just healing. Do early dungeons, and get the feel for how fast the tank's HP goes down/how long it takes you to cast stuff.

at level 30 or 40 something? i don’t remember. you get a skill called regen. it is your absolute BEST FRIEND

Yeah, the tank should be healed once they're below half. That gives you time to get the heal off.

the best practice I’ve found (although others feel free to speak up) is keep regen up on tanks in dungeons when you’re killing things. don’t regen prepull, because everything will aggro you.

Right now I'm level 22. I've only been in one dungeon with my conjurer so far and that was with friends.

Any time that you don't have something to heal, toss in some damage where you can.

But don't stress about it too much when you're early on and getting the ropes. It'll come with time.

tbh, in all of my days running dungeons in XIV, which is about four years, I’ve gotten badmouthed by people in dungeons for healing like...not even five times. I’m not saying anybody ever salts, but generally speaking people are p chill. Healing feels like a lot of responsibility at first, but it’s v chill once you find your groove.

also, there’s a difficulty spike in healing between brayflox and stone vigil, so if you struggle in vigil, please don’t feel disheartened. it hits hard synced down.

People gonna wipe on the first Stone Vigil pull sometimes, and that's ok.
