making vanilla filling but the recipe was like "use rosewater for FANCY and I just don't think I am that fancy

but....the alternative was ordering a box of 18 macarons for 27 bucks and I just........I just couldn't

so I WILL JUST GET BETTER AT MAKING MACARONS

macarons are actually hard to make, so it's not just you

THEY ARE PURPLE AND MASSIVE AND I WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO MAKE 7 THIS TIME BUT......good practice round. my arm is Hella sore

that's why they tend to be expensive: there's a DEFINITE learning curve to them so they're a specialized skill thing

they weren't creamy enough, so they didn't really flatten down. but heck.

and they taste like macarons.....and the color purple!!!
