I saw him yesterday walking around our block in the middle of the street. He's been sick for a while but he doesn't come to our house or anything, so there wasn't much we could do

I went out to give him food but I couldn't find him when I went out with the food

I walked around our block then road the bike around it three times and just couldn't find him, he must have ducked into a bush

Today I was riding my bike again and had the food and bowl and everything in case I saw him

He was on the neighbor's yard. Still breathing, but that's abou tit

Not responsive anymore

So neighbor called animal control. He should be going to a vet

It's still possible he can make it but he was pretty bad. Can only hope for him and send him good vibes

He was a feral who has been around here for a few years now

A little frustrating because he has the mange, but in CA they make it so you need to bring the cat in for a prescription to get the medicine for it. Well, he's a feral who wanders other parts of the neighborhood

So can't get the medicine he needs even though it's super easy to treat

I've been thinking of seeing if I can order a bottle of the stuff or something through an outside source for these situations.

Anyway, so if people believe in prayers or vibes or whathaveyou, just send some good will the little guy's way

We actually have his kittens. We know because they're not just the same color as him, but they have thumbs, which is what he has

But the kittens are very healthy and doing fine

We actually have known of him for years now because he showed up sick to our house years ago

We managed to get some doses of ivermectin from a rescue worker, so we were able to treat him there

He stayed at our house and probably slept for nearly a month straight. He'd get up, eat the food we gave him, then go back to sleep by the front hose. So it was easy to give him the medicine, and he bounced back

Sad to see he got sick again now. He's had a rough life
