Is Emet Selch just lonely? Is that why he keeps bugging the scions?

Or does he just really want someone to watch his grandiose speeches about nothing and the other ascians are sick of it.

Maybe he should get a pet. He'd feel less lonely and plenty of people talk to their dogs or cats or whatever. They'd listen to all his dumb speeches. My dog listens to me say all kinds of silly things.

I also just met up with Y'shtola again, and like, yeah we all love dumping on Thancred. Always good for a laugh. But not in front of the kid! What the heck?

Then again, she has moved into a book cave in the middle of a swamp so maybe she's just practicing her cantankerous granny schtick for the inevitable future where she becomes the next frog grandma.
