if it's ever potentially a thing that occurs with your characters just remember

your character can come back after a couple of days. they will temporarily be missing something, and this is worked out OOCly. It could be a particular set of memories. One of the five senses. The ability to talk. Nothing too exciting. This can last from a day to a week, we'll let you decide

when they revive they'll find themselves standing right where they died

think of it as a respawn point

and it will be like nothing happened. They won't remember dying for a few minutes.
