Apropos of absolutely nothing....
I've been watching a playthrough of a game, and also bought a different game last night, and BOTH have nonbinary player options and npcs built so smoothly and non-sensationalized into the story,
and I keep having this moment where I'm just SO grateful to live in a time when that's possible.

There are maintenance folk on the roof outside my office window, and LOGICALLY I know that the roof is below the floor level of my office so there is no possible way they can see through my window over my shoulder unless they are 10 ft tall. But lizard brain hisses and tries to cover up all my monitors so they can't watch me browse the internet....
