But thus far I've written scenes for this character that are everywhere from when he's five years old to twenty

I'm just generally putting things in order of where they'd have to take place and I'll have to fill in the inbetween parts later

I'll be honest, when I started I didn't know the gong farmers would be some of the nicest people in the story so far lol

But it makes sense for the story, because while the other boys have other reasons they wouldn't have any other friends, this one more doesn't have friends because of discrimination than because of personal flaws

Also, it's kind of funny

Because this is the SECOND story I'm making up to go along with another one, but I've written MORE for this one now than the one I have more fleshed out lol

TBH I love writing the interactions between the characters, the plot behind them almost feels like it'll be filler lol

One good thing about writing all over is realizing you need to set up thing X earlier one because you've already found a good path forward later

Originally one of the characters being able to see spirits didn't have much to do with this particular story, but now I can work it into part of the plot

The fact that the others couldn't do something and she could now has nothing to do with them being incompetent somehow and needing rescued, but simply that they don't have this ability and she does

Ah, yesss that is a good thing

Yeah, it always sucks when something relies on the characters being stupid to move the plot forward lol

They're generally competent but dealing with a big problem, so it's better not to have, "Oh, these other characters showed up and figured out all these things they should have a long time ago"

There's a lot of benefits to what you are doing, yes :3

And the reason she can even see spirits is related to an entirely different plot early on in the series, so it's not just something I made up for this one thing
