worse than windows media player, worse than iTunes at the height of DRM
i have to buy their premium version to listen to music with the screen turned off
i have to buy their premium to download my own music
can anyone recommend an app that will let me fucking listen to my own fucking music
preferably not spotify because i just want to listen to the music that i FUCKING own
I'm still so angry winamp died
i can download my entire library but thats something like 100gb of music
ive already practically filled up my ssd with other stuff
this was the whole point of cloud music, so that 20 year old music collections dont clog your hard drive
i dont understand why google keeps shutting down perfectly functional apps
i have all these ancient mp3s i got off fucking kazaa and i would like to LISTEN TO THEM, how is that so hard
i fucking hate digital obsolescence

Yeah I don't use ANY streaming services
I rip shit to hardcopy mp3 and use a player
yeah I still have shit backed up on CDs
I use YTM because Google sucks, and it's so unintuitive to find your own goddamn shit
I use Youtube to find stuff to buy off Bandcamp /nodding
not only does Weird ObscureMcHeimerBeatzen get more money, they usually have limited merch and shit
so i can listen to music on my fucking phone
has anyone heard of musicbee? is it good??
i'm currently using "groove music" since it came with my computer, and it's been competent thus far, but that's not mobile, as far as i know
hmm
i think one of my coworkers uses winamp, but i think that's computer only as well
i do need one for computer. im in the process of downloading my entire library
On my phone I use an mp3 player app called Pi Music Player that's fantastic
On my computer I am stuck using iTunes because it's the only player I have found that gives me the organizational features I can't live without
I'm a gremlin that Selects All in VCL
or Deals With my Iphone because it's the only Walkmanlike in my arsenal.
