sadly since they're a gem breed, you can't find their eggs or anything. you could trade treasure for gems to get a scroll or you just wait for them to be a reasonable price from others.

kind of annoying that they're a gem breed when you can't even put apparel on them.

right i forgot you can just kind of find eggs

also I'm a little puzzled we didn't get anything from galore? like usually they give you 1-2 freebies for the new breed.

to be fair, finding eggs is super rare in the first place

honestly it's weird that only five or six species have unhatched eggs

well we got the familiars from galore

actually what might have happened is that i did get the eggs, hatched them, and sold one of the banes

i'm picky about colors

yeah random eggs sometimes give... real bad colours

like ah yes, seafoam/orange/dirt

well the nice thing is they keep releasing genes that like, alter the base color by adding like "offsent" colors or gradients or shades

like breakup, noxtide, poison etc

rosette works REALLY well if you get it on a color that turns into something completely different

like if you apply it to radioactive you get hot pink and cyan highlights

hence why i have a radioactive tert named lisa frank

my lisa frank dragon is named peppermill because the peppermill casino has REALLY obnoxious decor

(or it did a decade ago when dad and I passed through there on my way to college, anyway)

ragged/tear do really nice things with color too, i wish they weren't banescale-only (although i do like banescales)
