god I was in like. 6th grade?

i graduated high school three years ago and now I work at marshalls

but I am full of love and life in a way I wasn't back then

i went through a lot in my childhood and was incredibly depressed in middle school bc I was heavily bullied

i started watching glee in February 2011. it was one of the first non 'kids' shows I ever watched. Kurt was really the first gay character I got to see in media. I had known I was not straight until I was about 7, and spent years struggling to figure out what I was.

and then, after months of hearing people talk about it, I finally found Dalton in late November. it took me 6 days and 23 hours to read, and I finished right before midnight on November 23rd. At the time I was super obsessed with the Warblers, so it was perfect in my eyes.

and of course, I fell in love with Dwight Houston the moment he started singing.

i had already liked him since we were both oddballs, but something about that moment

for him to do something he didn't like doing (singing in front of people) to save his friends? i heavily related

and so I spent the next two and a half years being obsessed with him

I've always kind of faded in and out of hyperfixations over the years, but Dalton has always been home. it's one I know I can always come back and still have people to talk to about it

also Dalton's what really taught me how to make friends online! to this day my favorite moment is when a twitter moot drew Dwight for me lol

also without dalton I don't think I would have met Islay or Ham soooooooo
