Kung hindi mo alam ung bet nya na alak, puwede tayo magsimula sa flavor profile. Sweet tooth? Sanay sa mapait? Mahilig sa maasim? Gusto ang maanghang at gumuguhit?

Puwede ding guide ang favorite food. Protein of choice and preferred preparation (steak over coal fire?), usual fruit he eats, etc.

for me avoid JW because that's always being given out. Macallan is .. ok naman.

TBH if you can find a bottle of Quint Urban (Glenmorangie) that is something out of the park. I've never tasted anything like it.

Meron double black label. Definitely better than black label. And yes, blue label is loads better than both. Personally, though, I'm not a fan of jw.

Ok, Black Label fan and likes grilled stuff. An Islay single malt like Ardbeg 10yrs will tick that smoky flavor box. Laphroaig (another Islay whisky) is too divisive to recommend unless the person really like Islay single malts.

I'll revisit my bottle of Plantation pineapple rum to see how pineapple-y it really is
