My pastor has called for taking the Eucharist out into our neighborhoods. He did this when the quarantine first hit, and with things being as crazy as they are right now, he is going to do it again. I will be assisting with this. You can see an explanation here: https://www.facebook.com... .

goodform: What they did when the church was closed was put out a call for parishioners to set up an altar on their front lawn or porch, and during the Eucharistic procession they would stop at the altar with the blessed Sacrament and allow people a few minutes of family Adoration.

We are now resuming 24 hour adoration, but in the church instead of the Adoration chapel to provide for more separation. They are renovating another building so that Adoration will not be competing wit mass for church space.

God bless you and the great priests in your area.

That sounds really great, it sounds like you face a good pastor. Ours is phenomenal. During the quarantine he and his assistant Priest processed weekend after weekend through every neighborhood in our area.

If you are in Goodrich one of my best girlfriends has a daughter and son in law at that parish. My friend is Orthodox, but she might go there also.

Goodrich is a neighboring town. Fr. Joe is also pastor of the parish there, St. Mark’s. I duck in there every so often for a weekday Mass and Confession.
