[Trans issues][family][bathroom bills]

Long story short, I had a discussion with my mom about politics (mistake, I know) and this particular issue is one where her opinion on the matter really hurts me. So maybe I made a mistake but I wrote a thing.

for later

very nicely written
sometimes I'm just so sad about the entire state of the world. not just this. But I guess I felt like I had enough to say about this.

It’s a good thing, and well written.

If you wanted to add anything (and you absolutely don’t) you could point out that bathroom bills actually affect cis-women more than trans women, since it means everyone is under scrutiny to pass now

So butch cis women (straight or not) are targeted for fear mongering or removed from bathrooms (and there’s been cases of that happening)

Also I’m sorry that you have to put up with that sort of thing from your mum.
that's a good point. I think I had a thought like thay but didn't get it out. /hugs
i have added an additional paragraph thank you for that
also is there an agreed upon spelling for transwoman/man? like is it trans-woman or transwoman? I feel like there isn't a consensus yet but I could be wrong

I’ve seen trans women used lately too (with a space) But I’m way too out of the community to know what’s the current standard
well... i think for audience for which i wrote it, it's probably not a big deal at least. Maybe something I'll look into later.
thats really good, love
I think it’s good. I hope she listens to you and changes her mind.

the agreed upon spelling is trans woman (with the space because trans is an adjective and is written as a separate word). this is a good thing you have written.
interesting!
I'm at work atm so I can't fix it rn but I will do it later
