didnt hurt much as shots go, last flu shot was way worse
there are SO many people here which gives me a lot of hope
in my personal experience, the pain of the first shot took 5 hours to show up. And then it stuck around for the next two and a half to three days.
Mine was about the same as a flu shot- sore arm onset after a few hours, stuck around for a day and a half or so and that's it
back home, arm just kinda aches a little
i got the pfizer one idk how different that is from the moderna
I got the pfizer, sore arm was the only side effect I got from round 1
Round 2, no arm soreness but I felt like hell for a day
That was my experience on moderna.
Sore arm for 2-3 days the first time, and the second time I got knocked flat by a flu-like immune response.
Man I'm so happy to see more and more people on my timeline posting about getting their shots
from what i'm hearing the second shot is worse yeah
im so glad you got your vaccine!!
I've not had a chance to get one yet, but my dad's weirdest side effect (and I think he got the Moderna) was what he referred to as 'two hours of roving fever' after his first shot
which was that he took his temperature with one of the no-contact scanners, and one side of his neck registered fever, the other didn't, or one side of his head did and the other didn't, and it kept moving around
but also: keep us updated re: super powers
that is the weirdest thing
although i guess it sort of makes sense....sorta?
maybe less in terms of an actual fever but like maybe a rash or swelling or smth
yeah, he figured it was immune response freaking out and trying to figure out where the germs were
and otherwise he felt fine, he was carrying on conversation and watching TV like always
yeah both my parents got pfizer and they said the second shot was barely noticeable
I forget which one my coworker got but the first shot knocked her on her ass for a couple days and then the second was much milder
Lots of variability
my arm still aches a tiny bit today
