Today on life with kiddo:
Kiddo: (out of nowhere) I don't want a dog, actually. (She's asked for one before on occasion.)
Me: Oh? Why is that?
K: I don't want something that will have fleas on it.
M: Well, there are medications you can put on a dog to make sure it doesn't get fleas.
K: Oh. beat Can I have a dog?

We have our hands full taking care of a 1 year old and a 4 year old. No way are we adding the demands that a dog would put on us to that equation. Ask when you're older, kid.
