Ubisoft is having massive sales, too. AC Origins is $12, AC Odyssey is $18, and AC3 Remastered is $20. The AC games go down from there. Farcry 3 is $6, Farcry 4 is $9, etc

And yeah, my experience with Paradox games are that the game is either 1.) "must play all the time play more play more" once you turn it on or 2) "wtf nothing about this makes any sense stop".
