I moved in Jan up to Portland to live with a very good friend of mine from high school
Got a job with Amazon in one of the warehouses working from 2am to 12pm
Quit said job because I had a mental breakdown
Had to wait three months to apply at my roomies warehouse
Got a job there which was a morning shift starting at 6:45am and actually started to like my job
had some great coworkers who made the job really fun
Started socially transitioning(going by he/him now) and even was asked my preferred name and pronouns at work, it really was great
Unfortunately a month ago our warehouse got rid of the shifts we were working and neither of us were able to work the 10 hour shifts they were providing
We are currently waiting for another warehouse to open up in hopes that they will have shifts we can actually work and be on a more convenient bus route
In the mean time we are both on Unemployment and working on a couple projects
My roomie is writing a podcast that we're hoping to get started on by the end of the year at the very latest. It's going to be called the Vermillion Report and has characters based on fairy tales
The other thing, which is my baby and I'll be advertising a lot, is a comic called Children of Anima
it's a lgbt+ comic set in a modern fantasy world that deals with wizards, shape shifters, ghosts, and all kinds of stuff
We're releasing the first 12 pages on the 2nd and having a raffle for the first 20 patrons where the winner will get to create a character who will show up later in the comic
I'm really excited and a little stressed about it
Oh and I have been doing a LOT of MHA fanart
it's been a long year lol
I've developed insomnia, interspaced with bouts of passing out early and still waking up feeling tired.
oof, yeah I've been fighting with my insomnia but it's been a little better since I was able to get back on my meds
now I'm just waiting for the insurance to approve my testosterone
