It's contractual work that's only a month and up to possible renewal but it's a job. The other one didn't pan out but I have a feeling my family will be happy on that front since they really opposed the whole night shift thing.

Officially part of the group and introduced myself on Slack and everything but I'll have a meeting late at 9:30 PM with someone with HR to hammer out my proper work hours since it's a bit of a wild west in terms of everyone's schedule but I have a job.

Trying to figure out my best working hours for this now. I like the idea of it being 1 PM to 10 PM since that's when I'm most active/aware of things but since being earlier (and forcing myself to have a better sleep schedule now) would be nice.

Thank you, everyone. ; u ; I had my first round of joining stuff, having meetings, and learning what is expected of me + what I'll be working on! It was nice to do that stuff again. My hours are still a bit up in the air but, hopefully, that's aired out by the client meeting I'll have on Tuesday or the bi-weekly town hall meetings on Wednesday.
