So I'm dealing with some post Covid symptoms. Mainly fatigue (getting better), but after my second vaccine shot I had a very strong reaction (3 days fever and headache) and after that went away I was having some shortness of breath/sinus congestion.

So I had to report that on my health check. First day, manager was like "ok, post Covid symptoms we have all heard of that let me know if you need breaks". Second day different manager made me call HR who put me out for 72 hours, before I explained that I had just had Covid and both shots.

Then they were like...call back tomorrow I guess? In the meantime I went to doctor, have an inhaler now, it's helping a lot, and the congestion I'm feeling is probably inflammation, they're seeing stuff like this with people post Covid. Told to just keep using inhaler, it might be a while, but nothing to worry about unless I have a fever or chest pains.

So I report that to HR and...they won't clear me until I'm 72 free of symptoms. Even though there's no way I could possibly have Covid and what I probably just have is: mild asthma forever now

Meanwhile when I actually had COVID they pushed me to come back ASAP and made me get things signed by doctors that yes truly she cannot work she still has the Covid which meant I had to leave my house WITH ACTIVE COVID and go to public places like the urgent care clinic and staples (because they wanted things faxed and WHO OWNS A FAX MACHINE NOW???)

So this week has been fun. Every time I have to go in to a doctor to get them to sign something it costs me $50 btw. So I have spent $300 this most trying not to go to work with Covid and now trying to go to work without Covid.
