So, highdef, I made a baby step. Emailed Martin Logan and found out what I have. It helps, but I know nothing about audio systems. (unsure)

Martin Logan are well known for their electrostatic panel speaker systems. However, they need a high quality/ high power amplifier to drive then to their potential.

beken: these aren't electrostatics, they're 4 channel satellite subwoofer.

ML has branched out to more affordable speakers of late, I guess.

It means that your speakers are the conventional kind, and don't need anything special :-)

pritcharddesign: I see. The connectors there make it very tricky and maybe not a job that can be done by that BT device. On the other hand, the BT device works great as a transmitter from a non-bluetooth TV or other sound source to bluetooth earphones as I'm using it.
