so it happens on a train but the train only has one car, like it's laid out like a bus but it's stuck on a track

and it begins in these cave tunnels and the way is blocked and the conductor/engineer is out finding out what's blocking it

and he's been gone for a while so I get out to go check it out

and then there's this girl, I think she was this girl in elementary school I didn't like, follows me

and apparently there's a traitor on the train (because it turns out that everyone on the train except the conductor/engineer is in one class? idk man I'm in college now so idgi) and she thinks it's me

and apparently she can check files to see who the traitor is but only once

so she checks my file but it's not me

anyway we go to see where the conductor and some other students are

and zombie/ghost/skeleton/???? pirates are blocking the train????

so we take care of them, I'm told to go back to the train because I can't help, and then the train gets going again

and like it goes through all these hellscapes and horrible stuff happens

including being swallowed by a giant thing at one point, I remember the burning and the squeezing

but we escape (NOT through the butt) and keep going

and people are dying somehow btw

so anyway we get this message from a zombie/ghost/demon/??? pirate (idk what is up with this dream and pirates)

and says we'd better have some hollow cords (???) for him by the time we get to him

or bad stuff is gonna happen

so we decide that hollow cords means vocal chords (???) so we have to decide who gives up their vocal chords and probably die because none of us are surgeons and we are on a moving train

so at first we're like "let's draw straws"

but then someone's like "what about those guys, they weren't here at the beginning" and there's three guys in black with hats and it's at this point I learn that we're all in the same class

but the conductor tells us that he's got some stuff we can make hollow cords out of stashed up ahead so we wait

and we get to his stash and it turns out to be flour, water, cheetos (?) and corndogs that are burnt-stuck to a plate (???)

so we decide to make a flour-water-cheeto dust mixture and wrap it around the corndog sticks to make the hollow cords? idk man

so while we're doing that I go back to this girl in the front who is taking care of my toad

it's a big brown toad

I do not have a toad in real life

anyway we talk a bit and I want my toad and I'm like "you know what? I'll just take the head"

so I cut the toad's head off and bring it back to where they're trying to make the hollow cords

and then I'm like "OH SHIT CUTTING A THING'S HEAD OFF USUALLY KILLS IT" so I go back to the toad and put its head back on

and it's ok, and it's like "oh hey thanks for giving me my head back let me tell your fortune"

and it gives me some stats

so apparently up to this point I've had a "sensible" personality, but I'm offended because there's a "smart" personality available and I'm not that

and it informs me of the moral choices I've made

I've made 3 bad choices, 5 neutral choices, and 0 good choices

(like in this dream I'm selfish in the sense I don't want to take personal risks? Like sure I'll work together but I'll make sure I personally survive)

and then the toad goes away

which sucks because he was a backup plan, we were gonna take his vocal cords (do toads even have vocal cords?)

so we make it to the pirate and we don't have our hollow cords, our cheeto plan didn't work

so he's like "I'm gonna take one of you to be my lover, decide who it is" (??? IDK MAN DREAMS ARE WEIRD)

and this one girl with long black hair sacrifices herself with all "okay I'll go"

and then we keep going as a narrator informs us how horrible it is for her and there is no escape, she's gonna be stuck there forever

and then ANOTHER fortune-telling toad (not the same one, apparently there are multiple) shows up and gives us some stats

it gives us some collective stats, like we have a collective Education score of 14 and a collective Intelligence score of -3 somehow, and I get offended by that

and it also gives us all our individual chances of survival

the train and conductor survive no matter what, most of us have chances in the 40-50% range but some people are in the 10's and 30's

it's at this point I learn there are 8-10 of us (like I remember there were two columns and they were even, but I don't remember if it was 4 or 5 each, so either 8 or 10) not including the conductor, and we started with 20

IDK where those three guys in black went they are gone they were only there for that one scene

they look like the hat guy from Lupin III btw

so anyway we come up with another challenge and I start discussing with another student in the front how to cheat past it

This was a long an oddly detailed dream. I can't even guess what could have inspired it in life. It was like "among us" meets... Night of the living dead and pirates of the caribbean on a train

and the one giving us the challenge hears us apparently and is like "ACTUALLY I'll let you go through if you let me have toads lick the ears of those two" pointing at me and the guy

so the guy gets his ear licked and by the time he's done his head looks like a pink marshmallow with a face cut into it

but I cover up my ear with my hand so the toad just licks my hand

IDK what is up with this dream and toads

the toad's tongue is rough like a cat's tongue

and of course she's upset that I cheated so she's like

new plan, you're gonna talk with Oprah

and I'm like oh that doesn't sound too bad

and she's like "demon Oprah, and by talk I mean play a game of kickball and if you lose you go to hell"

And THAT is when I woke up, we never found out if I had to play kickball with demon Oprah or what

I was really glad to wake up

dreams are weird man, it's like your brain just shoves random shit together and tries to make a coherent narrative out of it

It was fixated on toads... I hope you would have beaten demon oprah

I'm not athletic at all, so I was pretty worried

yeah IDK what was up with the toads, especially the "fortune-telling" stat-giving toads

weirdly I also got dangan ronpa vibes from the whole thing too? IDK man
