Is there a way to have a pan of ice water for your fan to blow across to help cool the room?

Not really at this time. I will have to think abut how I can do this. The only air flow I have is from my fan and the window to across the room and through my door if I have it open. I can not keep my door open too much now. I would have to get a doggy gate.

I have done the ice water pan on floor in front of fan many times when air conditioning out when lived on plains. Don't know why didn't think to tell you about that before.

I could do that, but there is one problem. I do not have access to a constant supply of ice.

even just cold tap water would help some

that's horribly hot. It's 27C here indoors and that's bad enough.
