thankfully not as weird as Toad Train Though Hell but still weird

so the dream starts with me playing gw2 and someone complaining about a movie they saw in chat

it's a movie about a people exploring a cave of bats during night time

and they send me an "in a nutshell" video of the movie on youtube

so most of the movie the group is exploring the cave, not with light, but with these weird radar ping things

and like they keep getting separated and then freaking out when their radar pings find something moving but no it's just one of the other people

and the movie never goes into WHY they're exploring the cave

and then back to the chat, the person says they thought the movie would say why they decided to explore the cave at night

the logic being bats go out to hunt at night so they wouldn't be at home in the cave

but no they just arrived in the cave at nighttime and didn't wait until daytime

(IDK why time of day matters if it's a CAVE but whatever)

important detail: there are no actual bats in this supposed bat cave movie, just a bunch of idiots running around in the dark

it's at this point that my dream transitions from the chat and nutshell video to the actual movie

so at the end it turns out they were looking for their friend, this 10-12 year old boy

he's been taken by a cult because he has a little bee buddy that he thinks is the reincarnation of his dead friend

and like he's laying in a bed and this cult member comes out and lays a baby with no arms on the bed with him

and the boy starts cuddling and playing with the baby (clapping his hands) and making it laugh

and in the end the boy goes with the cult willingly (even though he's a kid and shouldn't be able to make that decision? idk)

and the epilogue shows the boy growing up in the cult

playing with different kids as he does

and there's this scene with like 5 wire cages in a row but the second from the right is a cat carrier

with a snake inside it

and snake-leg-tentacle things erupt through/from the bottom and it starts walking

idk

anyway back to boy growing up in the cult

it transitions to the outside of the cult compound, where there's a brick wall and a gate and a cult member to welcome guests

and there's a plaque on the brick wall that says "Temple of Unity"

the end

(yeah idk why people say "you can't read in your dreams" I do it all the time)

oh and the plaque was in all caps the way some signs/plaques are XP

Toad train in Hell was a classic. /prepares to read this
