[Sensory] Just got woken up from a dead NyQuil sleep on the couch in the living room by a near-inaudible crunch snuffle crunch noise. Spent ten minutes trying to figure out where tf it’s coming from.

Blixa’s quills upstairs? Ollie breathing? Mike grinding his teeth in the bedroom? (Nope I can hear and identify all of those though.)

Was the ice maker in the kitchen.

The nearly silent ice maker.

Also I would like to be in my bed but I can’t stop sneezing and think I’ve actually managed to catch a cold ;.;

(Long short explanation, mike is the breadwinner, we keep each other awake between my sensory issues and his manifestations of Hashimoto’s - which right now is bad allergies and coughing. So I sleep on the couch on bad nights, especially if I have to be up for therapy or to work on commissions the next day.)
