yes i realise i said nothing about it here beforehand

we were supposed to fly in saturday and back sunday but american cancelled the return, then cancelled the rebooking, then cancelled the re-rebooking, so my partner's mom just bought us all new tickets on frontier to make sure it wouldn't keep happening

got home to two hungry kitties who made a mess scavenging mostly empty wet food cans and ripping up treat bags (can't really blame them tbh, I did only leave them enough for a day and a half, not 3.5) and now bram and I have just finished a 4.5 hour nap where she stayed snuggled in my arms under the blanket right up next to my face the whole time

and i've just ordered supper bc i went to the store for emergency kitty food and am 100% not going back out again tonight, lol

it was fun though! we went to the ripley's museum, the aquarium, great wolf lodge, a video game bar, got to see her parents (the whole trip was a surprise visit for her dad's birthday), and watched almost all of s1 of killjoys with her mom, who really got into it!

philadelphia's airport has a lot of really nice art i got to walk around and look at during our five hour layover so that was fun

oof yeah I was reading today that american is an airline that's just been stranding people all over, poor kitties

but at least a good time was had!

yeah her dad said if he'd known we were coming he would have said not to use american

we got there just fine, but DFW is apparently their main hub and where they wound up having the most cancellations, from what I saw today

yeah and I think they cancel a lot bc of weather
