tl;dr flew to texas to meet my partner's family - it was a great time aside from our flight home being cancelled three times and stressing us all our about our cats who were home alone

that and the chest cold that i developed a couple of days after getting back, but yet another round of prednisone and a shitton of sleep and it seems to be subsiding

hbo max is hands down the worst UI of all the streaming services i currently use

yeah I noticed I got a cold (def was not the plague) when they started opening up everything

the phone app or the tv app

I haven't watched tv shows on HBO max, mostly movies

I think they designed it for movies and said fuck it about tv shows

I get it through our cable provider since we already subscribe to HBO on cable

"oh i've seen this one, I want to go to the next one", go back, kicks to main menu, select show, starts playing the same episode
"no i want to watch a different episode" pull up menu, it's only for closed captions, go back, go to show, try and pull up info? starts playing the same episode
