I lost a lot of the depth of expression from the original face, and this is not the first time this has happened (ahahaha that sailor venus where I kept trying to save it with more glitter)

also some WIPs because the process of "it looks hideous until it doesn't" is always the most important part to me

but ALSO also ty friends for the encouragemnt that I do not deserve

i love the coloring so much

push too hard and the layer you're trying to build up just makes an ugly water bloom instead

watercolor people on youtube just one-shot everything and have all these vibrant saturated colors on their first pass and I'm like "SORCERY!!!!!!!!!"
