[teaching online] so I decided that this semester I would open up my virtual classrooms 15 minutes early and just stream lofi video game music so they can log into a chill vibe. I have immediately found my nerds
there is no reason to have 4 people log in this early but I'm happy that they apparently want to vibe with me

marymoo my field is English with a focus on Renaissance drama and the classics but I like to feed myself so most of what I teach is just varying levels of English composition

every once in a while I can scrape out a Shakespeare course somewhere and it's very exciting but other than that it's like "this is how you write a thesis statement 8D;"
also THANK YOU EVERYONE I was almost immediately disappointed when I started class and asked questions about the reading and had to have the "please do your homework -_- conversation earlier than usual
