OKAY sorry to double about ANOTHER cosplay thing but Y'ALL this IG account does this team up contest every year and you submit your photos to represent your character and then people vote and stuff and I'M CAPTAIN MARVEL and I can't EVEN.
I realize that might sound confusing
so like they announce they're doing it and every day they show like 10 ish characters they're going to have in the bracketed team up thing. Then if you have that character you can submit your photos for a chance to be featured as the representative for that character in the tournament. I submitted for basically everyone I do and had good photos of lol
I submitted a bunch last year too but didn't get in (so it goes) and this year I have better pics overall - like it is as much about the photo and edits as it is about the cosplayer and costume. So I sent in one a friend of mine put these really cool edits on where I'm glowing and stuff. it looks rad.
this is just me reposting their story but that's the idea - it'll be me and the Fury up against another similar team.
I just feel really seen and validated and I miss being Carol so much and I'm so glad the weather has cooled off so I can wear my suit without melting in it
