I also loved Lady in the Water which is seriously underrated as a bedtime story type movie (I think people expected thriller/horror because he had done only that up to then)
(Land a role in an LGBT movie where you are performing a gay man, and must kiss another male actor. Eat raw garlic before you go on set. Are you fucking lost.)
Anywway back to The Village and how, while it has a lot of wtf plot holes, it's crafted in such a way that I'm able to suspend disbelief for the fairytale / urban legend aspect of it
I fucking love The Village I could watch it a million times I think it was fucking amazing Bryce Dallas Howard was perfection and Adrian Brody was great
wherethefigslie: Adrian Brody does so well in it??? And I love the “I’ll dance with you on our wedding night” scene and tbh every scene ;.; it’s all just great storytelling
