I was told frequently that people didn’t like me because I was an asshole/weird/too sensitive/pick one

But the truth is more complicated: my mother is an abusive alcoholic and I’m autistic and don’t do social well enough to have scads of friends.
So. Therapy!
And yes. High five for all of us who have dealt with trauma and a hug and also a lot of just applause because we’re all still here.
