It was actually a really chill, cool interaction. He was an athlete from a different school, one near Dalton's district so they met a lot in competition. Derek says the guy was never the hostile type, like St. Pats kids were. He was just a guy who was clearly very into his sport, had a lot of fun, loved being with other talented athletes, learned from

them and stuff like that. He was the best guy in that sport (tennis) in that school. Big aspirations of getting to be professional while he was still young, that kinda thing.

Anyway, he must've inferred something mistaken when he saw how close he is to Logan (thought maybe they "played for the same team"), asked Derek out to dinner after the meet. But Derek had to correct him, apologized, and he was really cool about it right back, was sorry for assuming and all, hoped he didn't make him uncomfortable.

Derek said no, not at all, it happens. And then yeah, introduced him to Logan. XD

Important to note that though Logan and tennis boy lasted maybe a few dates, it's Derek who ended up dating tennis boy's older sister for a long stint. XD

Oh man that's so perfect!! I love how Lo and Derek benefitted in the end with some dates XD

Maybe was a Ridgewood kid? I was looking over all the schools earlier and we highly underuse Ridgewood haha.
