I can’t update on mine. Mine is a late 2008 MacBook that still works fine. The 1Tb ssd I put in it really helped extend its life.

Swamp_Daddy: yikes. I really need to be up-to-date ‘cause it’s my livelihood such as it is right now.

Indikon: I haven’t looked. But I have beaucoup laptops & phones to trade in. It’s just a chore going through them, finding cords to charge, etc.
