Baconpants: it seems as a merchant you can still see the name in the notification email, but what if you miss the email (happens a lot) or delete it by accident, you can't ever get back to the customer to solve things :/
what Baconpants said, and also positive reviews will have less value now. people will assume it's fake. i'd like to know what they were thinking, i didn't see any official news about it yet, only forum posts.
lots of merchants already get lots of dumb reviews by people who don't understand how the thing works or don't understand that they got exactly what was advertised or that they should have tried a demo, now we can't even contact those people to fix the problem and try to get them to change their review?
Almost every time I've gotten a negative review I've contacted the person and worked things out with them human to human and they've been happy to change their review. So long proactive customer service I guess
