it has been ages since I've collected and hatched pairs, so I'm having a lot of fun with these

koi

firstly, the results of the fancy-ass koi pairs I've been assembling

I love this pair because the mother throws in the occasional python/morph instead of piebald/paint, so I get a bigger range of possible koi fish lookalikes

and then the second pair gave me FIVE EGGS

all piebald/paint, but varying orange shades underneath the koi

I have a whole tab for all my koi and I love seeing them all together

another pair I'm having a lot of fun with is some Obelisks that throw these awesome brassy/tarnished looking babies, and they remind me of statues or something mythical, with red-hued stains over green-hued colors:
