After over an hour I think I found something about it.

Not in FAQ, not in the Asset page info, not in the housing page info.... in a random state of the game post when it was asked by someone else. I have no idea how new players are suppose to be able to find this sort of information easily

OKAY not sure who Legato's last dominant was, but I think according to this thread that person technically owns the house because subs can't own property. They only get it for the 3 month grace period as they find a new dominant and then Dom owns it

But then I also found this thread in a different game update that makes it sound like you can leave at least business to other people although it doesn't mention if it matters being a dom or sub

again in this state of the game post it mentions business can be left to people without it mattering if it's a dom or sub, but it doesn't mention housing

I did find something in the FAQ about items being left for people where it says there should be a note in the drop page where you can list items being left for people. I get alerts for top levels posted to the drop page (because sometimes it's the only warning I have that some CR has dropped) and I do see people leaving

homes/businesses to other players before but I admit I've never paid attention to if they were leaving it to a sub vs a dom

You can try leaving it behind as an asset to someone and worst case they say no and you lose it or they don't say anything and that person can hold it for you until you can app back in if you want to

You'll need to make sure that person knows they need to officially claim the housing asset in short order or they will not be able to acquire it.

Okay, speaking from experience. Alex (sub) received a business from a Dominant. He then either had to have his Dominant take possession or, if he didn't have one, find one willing to sign off on it on his behalf.

And this was about two weeks ago.

But that was when someone officially dropped. So you might want to put something in the Drops page.

Yeah, they just put 'left to Alex' and once they dropped, it was up to me to determine whether I was able/willing to keep it.

We note that Sebastian's player planned to leave Private Dick to Alex. Since Alex is a submissive, he cannot own the business. However, since Sebastian was his dominant and has disappeared, the city would have sympathy for his position.

He would be permitted to continue to operate Private Dick until he finds a new contract, although for city paperwork reasons he'd need to identify a Dominant to act as the competent authority.

When he contracts, ownership of Private Dick can be given to his new Dominant, as long as they are eligible for a business. If they are not, at that point a different Dominant owner will need to be found.

Please respond to this to confirm that you're interested in having Alex manage it in this limbo status and let us know if you have any questions!

(The housing mod will be in contact about his housing, which will be handled slightly differently since housing isn't quite as complicated as businesses.)

I don't have dorian's player friended. could legato will the home to "vash's dominant," and then dorian/the player could do with it what they wanted and legato will just deal with that if/when he gets reapped?
