I'm def buying it, but deciding if it will be now or later

is the art less cartoony than bdsp? it looked less cartoony from what I saw but what's in the trailer isn't always the final product

i'd think something as big as artstyle not being reflected in a trailer only happens if that trailer came out years before the final game

true, but sometimes I've even played games where cut scenes don't necessarily march the game itself

I'm also just curious how the gameplay actually feels while playing it vs watching trailers

different enough to be engaging I would say. you have various options and ways to tackle capture of pokemon

cut scenes, sure, that happens all the time, but we're talking about the entire artstyle

even after the brief tutorial the game kind of lets you do whatever and gives you tasks if you want to progress but you could also just run around collecting stuff

is it as open world as people expected?

I've only started playing but the first area I'm in is pretty big!
