I like the realness that you give shin, like you aren't afraid to have him mess up or do something that might cause problems because that's the kind of mindset he has. I'm definitely the kind of person who appreciates messy CR and characters so it's a quality I appreciate a lot when others are willing to let their characters not get along with others etc etc

and besides that, you do it in a way where it feels really natural and not like, manufactured drama. it really just reflects the difficult things that shin himself is processing in the moment and so!!! I think you do so well with that

also some of the expressions you use are sooooo nice, I'm super envious of the way you're able to use your words

: DDDD thank youuu that means a lot to hear bc sometimes i do worry about if i'm like, a little too reluctant to have him make mistakes or for him to experience hardships, it's a tricky line to walk because events do have effects on him so it's like okay how do i balance those as well

(thinking about the whole subaru photograph thing and the effects of potentially strongarming him into it; usually wouldn't be a problem, but since shin has trauma connected to being photographed it def would have a large impact)

but also it's very true to canon for him to misinterpret things or get overfocused on something or read things in bad faith or get very passionate about things that hit his buttons or just be bad at interaction and those are all things I want to keep playing with bc they're part of what make him so interesting

and i do love that they naturally create drama and tensions and complex moments... but i do also love that shin has that thread of wanting to trust people and be able to trust people that leads to him trying to pick himself back up even with the scars it lets me balance things a bit

playing around with words is one of my joys, i like seeing how many shades of meaning I can cram into things it's like a fun game
