The brain goes through the same processes in anxiety and excitement. The key is to trick the mind that it is excitement you think you feel in times of anxiety. The brain easily rewires no matter how we actually feel.

While this has been stated across different literatures, it is important to distinguish one from the other. In doing so, tricking the mind may be effective.
