I'm going to handwave him getting a job as a barrista somewhere, as that's what he did back home, unless someone wants him somewhere specific

I'm also going to figure out which city he's going to plant roots in, so that's up in the air

But when he was a preteen a superhero thought his dad abducted him, and really hurt him in the ensuing fight (his dad still has a bad leg to this day) and Eddie wound up getting actually abducted by his "savior", which left him just a bit traumatized and extremely overprotective of his dad
